Screening, alerts and institutional position history are built on SEC data, which is a public record. You are paying for the work of collecting and comparing it, not for the data.
Real-time quotes carry per-exchange licensing costs, which is the honest reason this tier exists at a higher price. International venues stay delayed — no provider sells worldwide real-time cheaply, and we would rather label it than claim it.
